Sergeant Malak Daedalir

Once an esteemed Eliminator among the Hyperion Raiders, fell into the clutches of Telon's malevolent grasp alongside Marshal Kozlov. Subjected to Telon's vile experiments, Malak endured a transformative ordeal, emerging as a Human/Tyranid Hybrid. Unlike the other Hybrids, despite his grotesque metamorphosis, Malak remained loyal to his chapter and the Imperium. His will remained unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he wielded his newfound abilities in service to the Hyperion Raiders. In a final, selfless act of defiance against the Quantum Corps, Malak led a daring assault, to destroy the Corps’ research facility. In the destruction he sacrificed himself to thwart the enemy's schemes and safeguard his brethren. His valorous sacrifice became legend, a testament to the indomitable spirit that defines the warriors of the Hyperion Raiders.

T he Hyperion Raiders were among the Primaris Space Marine Chapters created during the Ultima Founding at the direct order of Robouote Giuilliman, and were created after the conclusion of the Indomitus Crusade. Recruited from the worlds of the Droichead Sector , the Hyperion Raiders follow the advanced analytics and adaptability tactics. The Hyperion Raiders were founded to replace the lost space marine chapter the Sons of Hesperia. Some of the Hyperion Raiders influences and customs come from the Sons of Hesperia. To pay respect to the lost space marine chapter, the Hyperion Raiders have named Ships after ones the Sons of Hesperia had.
